ECC Style: Part 1

One of my favorite questions to ask people whether conducting a job interview, doing an interview for the blog, or just passing the time is: tell me something about yourself I would not know just from first meeting you.

The answers vary. I'm double jointed in my shoulders. I can pickles in my spare time or I'm a qualified skydiver.  And this one from a 56 year old professor of physics, I went to a Justin Timberlake concert and loved it!

What does the bright lining of a suit or jacket say about you? Shawn (above) and Jeff (below) of ECC Life & Style would know a thing or two about letting your clothes say a little sumthin sumthin about you.  They are the brains behind the Boston based company that designs custom menswear.

I'd love to hear one thing about you, dear reader, that people can't tell from meeting you the first time.  I'll start, I took fencing lessons for several years. En garde!

Well, one thing that anyone WOULD know about me upon meeting is that the courtyard at the BPL is one of my favorite places in the world. That top picture is fantastic- snappy dresser in a gorgeous locale!
As for something surprising, Chemistry was my favorite subject in high school.

I love dogs! Like almost more than anything else on this planet. If money were no object I would quit my job and open a canine rescue and behavioral center and rescue dogs who are deemed unadoptable or would otherwise be euthanized. :)

Reminds me of Will Smith's blazer on Fresh Prince! Hot looks. My fun fact is usually that I am a twin :)

You ladies are funny! Abbie, my favorite subject in high school was biology. i totally didn't get chemistry. I now have a higher level of respect for you. chemistry intimidated me.

kendra--i wasn't a dog person until I dog sat for my brother, who has the sweetest dog ever. he (the dog) is so adorable, and i miss him terribly. i'm now a sucker for dogs!

Gretchen--are you two identical?

Jem--had to laugh about the hebrew. all i know is how to pronounce my "ch" in Hebrew.

One thing that no one would ever know about me from how I dress is that I watch "What Not to Wear" religiously. LOL!
