I took this picture on the one sunny day we had last week. Seeing Vijeta with this bright flower print dress from Forever21 warmed my spirits. Looks like we're in for another week rainy week here in Boston. *Sigh*
I picked up L'Afrique est la mode (published by Assouline) on my last visit to Paris. I loved these two images. The top one of the gentleman with the bad ass sunglasses is by Malick Sidibe and the bottom is by styled by Simon Foxton.
The Malick Sidibe picture was taken in 1963; the Foxton in 1991. To think that I'll look back and will chuckle at my outfits in 30 years or so (if I'm lucky to live that long). I think I'm going to concentrate on looking very bad ass in future pictures taken of me.
Not in the aforementioned book, but I also love this Foxton look.
I'm in SF for a few days where I got a chance to meet up with the lovely Mai of Fashionist. She took a picture of me a gentleman by the name of Thomas, who ended up proposing...definitely check out Mai's site.
I decided not to bring my computer with me on this trip, so I'll post the pics I've taken (and the pic of me and Thomas) when I get back to BOS. I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
