Young and free: Cambridge
I had the opportunity to go to Project East this past weekend. As one would expect, the audience was made up of smartly dressed Harvies and BU students.
Back in my salad days I remember the excitement of going to fashion shows. This time around, a thought popped into my head that hadn't occurred to me before. The models were young girls. Some tall, coltish, with legs to their armpits others, as Ms. Banks would say, were petite models. As these young women sauntered past my seat, a thought crystallized in my mind: Oh, to be young with no cellulite!
Don't you know the next day I headed off to the gym. My, ah, glutes have never hurt so good.

That bustier/corset in the first photo is gorgeous!
amen sister! but the problem is (at least at my gym-- im doing my masters at northeastern) that all the girls in the gym are already skinny and wearing skin tight outfits.
sigh.
both photos are really striking.
I love the blouse in the second outfit! I need a blouse like that in my life.
Jaime--The bustier/corset is actually a dress from Urbans!
Un bel oiseau--I never did get into wearing tight (and color coordinated)gym outfits. Maybe I'm not so fashionable through and through.
Jane--thanks!
Jes--I love frilly blouses too!
Oh my goodness, that second outfit is just spectacular!! That jacket flatters the outfit so well! I'll be at a fashion show in Salem on December 4th with my coworkers from Raspberry Beret in Cambridge. Perhaps I'll see you there!
