White tights
Not too long ago, I received a text from my sister:
"u should blog about tights. like shoes, they can make or break an outfit. Be sure to expound on the perils of white tights on a woman older than 5"
I laughed out loud reading that one. She can be so funny that sis of mine. A week after receiving her text, I saw these pictures on Altamira. I suppose I could sport tights myself, but it would all depend on the length of the skirt. Donning a short skirt with white tights would make me look like I have ginormous ham hocks for thighs. What are your views?

Cute on her...not the easiest thing to pull off though.
love the girl in the 1st photo...she looks like a sweet ballerina type...on her it just...works. 2nd photo, not so much. that said, i certainly could never pull it off!!!
White is not my favorite color in clothes for various reasons and to wear white tights? no way! There are people confident enough to pull it off, but it is a difficult color and white tights are associated w/ being a nurse...
Tights in general are awesome. Neons are fun, and darker colors make a great addition as well. I think white ones are ok, as long as they aren't the focus of the outfit.
I used to hate all white tights, but in the past year they've definitely grown on me. I've come to realise it's just one of those things that will look awful and just plain wrong on so many people, but then there are a few here and there who can just really pull them off! I'm not sure I could, but I know someone who could. You'll never know until you try, but it's good to have an honest friend to tell you if you can pull it off or just give up. :P
I love coloured stockings but white ones are definitely hard. I think another thing is, when people wear white ones, they're so 'in your face' that you really have to put together an entire 'look' as opposed to just thinking of them as tights you know? :) Like those girls! And they look great.
