Salmagundi: for ladies and gents...

I spend a fair amount of time in Jamaica Plain, on Centre Street to be exact, but I haven't had much luck stylehunting there. Apparantly, I need to be at Salmagundi around 2 pm on a Saturday to see some truly well dressed people. I have a paper due this Saturday, so I'll just have to go in a few weeks. In the meantime, here are some pics from my new favorite accessories store, Salmagundi (765 Centre Street, JP).

Co-owner, Jessen. Digging the grandpa chic look. Apparantly, Chrystos' hat is from Salmagundi.

During our conversation about sociology, about the history of Boston and about the best places to go salsa dancing in BOS, I was very, very distracted. For that, Jessen, I apologize, but really, it's your fault for having such a cool store.

The hat is of course from Salmagundi.

I've been wanting a business card case for a while. Glad to finally found ones of women who look like me. Hmm, this may be enough inspiration to wrap my hair tomorrow.

Driving gloves anyone?

I am so so glad you made it there and loved it - I remember we were talking about it back in August, after a discussion about feathered/decorated headbands and hairpieces :)

Don't forget to check out 40 South Street for interesting vintage nearby next time you're in the area! :) If they're open that is, got very specific opening hours hehe.
