her outfit is completely unremarkable. if this is the best boston has to offer it's no surprise that great stores like Louis are shuttering there doors while footless tights and burberry scarves reign supreme. this look, even circa 2002, is dull. does no one in this city care? or are they so challenged that the best they can do is look like a more polished urban outfitters mannequin. cute photo though.
Thanks for the compliment on the photo. I disagree about the outfit being unremarkable. This look, that seems to be dull is all over NYC and Europe. This outfit reminds me of an ensemble that model Natalia Vodianova wore. Ashley is young, has a great haircut and expresses her spunk through the leggings, (which I admit aren't for everyone).
This outfit in a lot of ways is a great starting point. With peep-toe booties, a shrunken boy jacket and red lips, it would be completely different. In the same vein, she could do sandals, oversized sunglasses, and a hobo bag and you have another hit. Style shouldn’t have to be all about designers.
